About How do these new full body scans work

How do these new full body scans work?
Last time I was in an airport was September of '10 and since then I know they have installed many full body scanners. I was wondering, how do they work? Do you just walk in, stand still, and then move along? Also, do kids or teens (12 & 14) have to go through? Or do they just go through a normal metal detector? I'm very confused, and I am flying tomorrow, so JW. Idc if I do have to go through a detector, but I'm just wondering. Sorry if I sound very ignorant. I'll be in these airports throughout the following week, which ones do have the full-body scanners? Do they all? -Cleveland Hopkins -John Wayne -Denver International -Dallas Fort Worth Thanks!

Answer 1 :
Idk what airports will have them but I heard that all airports are getting them. At the airport I had applied for if you look suspicious or if you go off in the metal detector you then go through that scanner. You just stand still with hands in the air and get scanned. It is the same for adults and kids alike. Also the scanner does not show porno-grade images as the news stated. The face isn't even shown and you can barely even make out the body. Images also are not saved. Have a fun and safe plane ride
Answer 2 :
Ignorance simply means you don't know - so you take steps to find out more - as you are doing, which I take to be a sign of intelligence. This is a list, from the TSA, that indicates which airports have those scanners. There is a whole section in the TSA site about them - and this only one of the links: http://www.tsa.gov/approach/tech/ait/faqs.shtm Denver and Dallas do have those scanners. The other 2 do not - at least according to the list. Also: Q. Is imaging technology optional? A. Yes, imaging technology screening is optional for all passengers. Passengers who do not wish to receive imagining technology screening will receive alternative screening, including a physical pat-down.
Answer 3 :
You walk in, stand with your legs and arms apart, wait a second, and then exit. If anything is found the machine will buzz and you will then be given a pat down in the area that had something suspicious set off the alarm. It is entirely optional to go through these. If you do not want to go through it just state, "I would prefer a pat down" and they will call an officer of the same sex over to pat you down, and you may be asked to walk through a traditional metal detector first. The images of the scans are no where visible down on the floor where the scans are taken place so no one but the officers working up in a different room will see the scan.
Answer 4 :
everyone has to through the body scan and yes u hav to stand still n move on

About Removed from Position by Company without Documentation

Removed from Position by Company without Documentation?
I was an operations manager with a company and was removed from the position with the reason that I lack inter-personal skills, as well as that I had been at the same location for too long. I had good annual reviews up until this point. There was no documentation stating that I was not performing to expectations, nor was I given an opportunity to perform at the expectation level. My pay was decreased to the level it was at prior to my promotion to Operations Manager. I was then assigned to work with the current weekend shift supervisor, which I did. I was then assigned to go to Fort Wayne, IN to help with another account. I have done this for 8 weeks. I am now being told that if I do not accept a supervisor position at another of our sites, then my employment will be ended with the company. I would receive 9 weeks of severance pay (one week for every year of service). Do I have a case for wrongful termination in the state of IL or should I just take the severance and run?

Answer 1 :
Better consult a lawyer then. From what u said, it seems like the management has something personal against you and really go to measures to get you. Sorry to hear that u actually wasted 9 years of your effort with this company.
Answer 2 :
If you're a white male, you probably don't have a case

About Not getting paid overtime, hours "rolling over" to next check

Not getting paid overtime, hours "rolling over" to next check.?
I work at a Dairy Queen in Fort Wayne. We get paid bi-weekly, and this pay period I have exceeded 80 hours. I worked around 36 week one, and about 50 week two. I was told that my hours will just "roll-over" to the next paycheck to avoid being paid overtime pay. This isn't many hours, and I know if I complain to management about this I will more than likely lose my job. I have been documenting all of my hours, I am not really sure what to do next. Any advice on what I should do now would be very helpful.

Answer 1 :
Look up your state's wage & hours commission/department. You should be able to file a complaint with the state if this is in fact illegal. I suspect it is but I do not know the details of Indiana's laws. You might also try speaking to someone one level up from management (do you have a district or regional manager?) or if your company has a hotline to report sexual harassment, employee theft, etc. you could give that a try.
Answer 2 :
No, it's not legal. Your call - report it to the dept of labor and get the OT pay, but you're right you'd probably lose your job.
Answer 3 :
first, you need to make sure you know what the work-week is and how it relates to the pay-periods,,,,, then, overtime is based on the work-week (as defined by the employer), and it MUST be paid..... so, if you are sure that you have overtime in a work-week and are not paid for it ask management to correct this, and if they don't file a wage claim with the state at: http://www.in.gov/dol/2734.htm or just live with the abuse

heell yea
Answer 2 :
References Available on request-delete this, employers assume that you have references. Went a straight 3 years-no numbers use three •A lot of heavy lifting and moving-this sounds negative, it sounds like you don't like moving. Objective I am looking for a great opportunity to get into a new career to better myself and family. I would like to utilize current and new skills alike.-you need to modify this to every position you apply for, and it is way too long. also have one section that says job objective, keep this simple. followed by summary of qualifications which is followed by bullets describing your qualifications. you need to modify this for every job you apply for. •Constantly topping out on the incentive program-this might not be understood by all employers. ----also you have two sections describing your position and duties. write your position followed by your bullets which describe your duties example: Warehouse Specialist *receiving orders
